Private island development legal, but obstacles piling up
(Ecns.cn)--On the afternoon of November 11, a wealthy businesswoman called Yang Weihua won her bid for the 50-year use rights to Dayangyu Island for the sum of 20 million yuan - the first to go in an official bid. Dayangyu is 13 アルバイトkm away from Xiangshan County in eastern Zhejiang Province.Three days before Yang's success, business man Huang Yimin became China's first legal owner of the unmanned island of Danmenshan. A total of 176 uninhabited islands were announced as available for private development on April 12, 2010 by China's State Oceanic Administration. Huang's island is not listed among the176-released, テレビ会議システムso Huang drafted his own proposal to the ** and was also granted a 50-year use certificate.
Owning your own island is a common fantasy, but not an uneasy thing to realize. Financial and environmental factors may affect both exploration and development, the most prominent complaints being the huge investment requirement, the long period of development, a relatively low return rate, and the dance balancing exploitation and protection of their fragile environments.
Island owners seeking ways to grow
Danmenshan covers an area of only one square kilometer. At its tiny port, you can spot the tourist greeting – a billboard saying "welcome to Golden Sand Bay", 株noting that this is a place for vacationers, particularly those who like hunting and fishing. C**truction of accommodati** started in 1999 and it soon sported a vacation village composed of clustered villas. Initially they had a high occupation rate in the high season running from May to September, but in m**oon season, heavy sea winds may last for days at a time and completely isolate the island from the shore.
According to Guangdong Daily, "Years ago many people used to come here, and in the good times, as many as 200 in a single day", recalls Hua Changzi, the island-guard, adding "Now visitors are scarce, as the wild pigs for hunting have vanished."
Island owner Huang Yimin would not reveal whether the venture had gains or losses during its brief two-year operation, and his interview comments were confined to understatements when pressed by media that included the Guangdong Daily. "The development is still at the fumbling stage, so I can't guarantee its success", Huang stated on November 8. 能发这么好的帖子,太谢谢了
